Chance,born August 4, 2003. At an early age you could see his love for the
game. One of his first words was basketball. He would play with his Fisher Price
basketball set for hours and even slept with a little plush basketball. Chance would watch basketball games on TV with his basketball in hand for hours. At the age of 6 his parents enrolled him in a martial arts class where he learned discipline, strength, conditioning and focus and earned a purple belt. At the age of 7 he began training with his dad. After
seeing so much natural ability and discipline, he began playing competitive youth basketball. Performance and Awards Chance’s first few seasons of basketball started at the West Valley YMCA; where he led his team to the championship game 3 times, winning 1 championship, and also leading his team in scoring, assists and steals. At the age of 9 Chance was a starter and team captain for Courtside Hoops’ 10u and 11u teams, winning the Impact League 10u championship. Chance led his team in scoring and assists in the championship game. In 2013 at the age of 10, Chance joined Hard Work Basketball and quickly worked his way into the starting lineup. In the summer of 2014, his team, Hard Work Basketball won 3rd place in the Las Vegas National Championship. Just turning 11 in August of 2014, he is the youngest starter for the 12u team and he is respected by his teammates, coaches and opponents. In the summer of 2014 Chance was invited to participate in the Ball is Life/West Coast Elite camp, where he was identified as one of the Elite players on the west coast in his age group.
